Smartphone Link offers a seamless connection between your iPhone® and a compatible Garmin navigator. What Are Garmin Live Services?

Garmin Live Services provide up-to-date information to your Garmin navigator using your existing mobile data plan. There is no need for an additional data connection. Some services are included when you connect to Smartphone Link. However, there are also optional paid subscriptions within the app that offer premium content and enhanced features. It's important to note that in order to receive location-specific data through Garmin Live Services, your current GPS location must be shared with Garmin and their partners.

The included Live Services are as follows:

• Address sharing: You can send locations and online search results from your phone to your compatible Garmin navigator and navigate directly to them.
• Garmin Live Traffic: This feature provides real-time traffic updates, helping you avoid delays and find detours. Garmin Live Traffic is updated every minute, receiving over 1,000 messages during each update cycle.
